Terms of Use

1. Who can use Vismayan

Vismayan is for students in Classes 8–12 preparing for NEET or JEE, and for their parents or guardians. If you are under 18, a parent or guardian must confirm consent before you use features that process your questions, photos or voice, and they accept these terms on your behalf. Parents are responsible for how their linked child’s account is paid for and used.

2. Your account

• Sign in with your own mobile number. Keep sign-in codes private — never share them, even with someone who claims to be from us.
• One account per person. Give accurate details (especially your class), as they shape what you are taught.
• Tell us straight away if you think someone else has used your account.

3. What the service is — and isn’t

• Vismayan is a study aid: an AI tutor, practice, mock tests, revision and planning. It supports, and does not replace, teachers, schools or official study material.
• AI-generated answers can contain mistakes. We re-check some answers independently and label them, but always verify important results, and use the “Report an error” button when something looks wrong.
• Mock tests follow publicly available exam patterns. Always check the latest official notices from the exam authority (such as NTA) for dates, syllabus and rules.
• We do not guarantee any exam result, rank or admission.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• use Vismayan to cheat in any live exam, test or assessment;
• upload other people’s personal information, or anything unlawful, hateful, sexual or harmful;
• try to break, overload, scrape, copy or reverse-engineer the service, or get around plan limits or safety checks;
• share your account or resell access.

The tutor answers study questions only. If a message suggests someone may be in distress, we respond with care and helpline information instead of a study answer.

5. Content and ownership

Our notes, questions, solutions, designs and software belong to us or our licensors and are original or licensed. You may use them for your own study. Your questions and uploads remain yours; you allow us to process them only to provide and improve the service, as described in the Privacy Policy.

6. Plans, payments and renewals

• There is a free plan with daily limits. Paid plans and add-on packs are listed in the app, with prices in Indian rupees shown before you pay.
• Only parents (or students aged 18 or over) can buy a plan. Payments are processed securely by Razorpay.
• Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each period until cancelled. You can cancel any time from Billing; you keep access until the end of the period already paid for.
• Refunds are covered by our Refunds & Cancellation policy.
• If we change the price of a plan, we will tell you before your next renewal.

7. Changes, suspension and ending

We keep improving Vismayan and may change or retire features. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms or puts others at risk, and will explain why where we can. You can delete your account at any time from your Profile.

8. Liability

We work hard to keep Vismayan accurate and available, but it is provided “as is”. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before it arose. Nothing here limits rights you have under Indian consumer law.

9. Law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Please talk to us first — use our contact page — and we will try to resolve any problem quickly. Otherwise, disputes are subject to the courts having jurisdiction over our registered office.

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. If changes are significant, we will tell you in the app before they take effect; continuing to use Vismayan after that means you accept them.
